Meet Me

This blog is written by a second year university student . Coming from Indonesia with Java ethnic background colored her world with conventionality in viewing dramatic cultural changes in the society.

Yet, her perspective changed during her 3 year study at multi-cultural, semi military, boarding high school in Central Java. Meeting many people from various socio-economic background had brought her new perspective to face the reality of our today’s society. The school was surrounded by pines, thus, this blog represents immortal thankfulness to the school and the teachers for the three miraculous years. 

This new perspective challenged her even further into a long journey of searching self and understanding of human in a totally foreign country which is although near with her homeland but totally different in culture and lifestyle. The fast-life, freedom, and individuality strucked her at first but she learned to deal with it,adapting without forgetting her identity. She learned and is still learning.

This blog is solely to  share her learning experiences, her thoughts, and personal perceptions of the world she’s seeing today. Any comments are welcomed, critiques and suggestions are the most expected. The world is getting globalized and friends are not merely those who are physically close.
